Jess Bielman

Jess Bielman, DMin, is a minister, educator, and consultant who equips congregations and leaders to navigate adaptive change with theological depth and cultural awareness. His work centers on helping churches engage their communities in ways that honor the dignity of all people while strengthening the internal capacity needed for long-term vitality. Jess has served in campus ministry, house church contexts, and higher education, where he has taught Bible, Christian spirituality, preaching, faith and culture, and community engagement. His doctoral work focused on contextualizing ministry formation for the Pacific Northwest, reflecting his longstanding commitment to the intersection of faith and local culture.

Throughout his career, Jess has developed programs and curricula that prepare leaders to minister thoughtfully at the margins of cities, neighborhoods, and society. He brings experience in strategic planning, systems redesign, and institutional culture change, often helping organizations realign structures with their core values. As a facilitator and mentor, he supports leaders who are discerning new expressions of church, navigating transition, or reimagining their role in a changing landscape. Within C3, Jess contributes formation-centered leadership, practical innovation experience, and a steady commitment to cultivating the adaptive muscles congregations need to thrive.
